| Sheriff Floyd of St. Johns tenders resignation Something anticipated, but greatly regreted was the resignation tendered yesterday by Mr. H. H. Floyd Sheriff of St. Johns to take effect Aug 10. Mr. Floyd will go to Ridgeland, Hampton County. The candidates for the office made vacant by Mr. Floyd's resignation are quite numerious and each has his friends.
