| Florida Herald and Southern Democrat August 14, 1843 $350 Dollars Reward are offered for the apprehension of the following slaves or fifty dollars for each of them viz: Andrew, belonging to Francis Gue; William belonging to General Hernandez Robert & Joe, a mulatto, belonging to W. H. Williams Jim belonging to Miss Ash Casper, belonging to Jacob Merkler Henry, belonging to John M Fontane The above reward and all reasonable expenses will be paid for their apprehension and delivery to any jailer in Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina. Said slaves went off in a whale boat, belonging to the pilots of this port. They were seen last night about 10 miles north of this city, and it is supposed they went to sea immediately thereafter.
