Flagler Left Bulk of Estate to 3 Daughters
Each Gets 20,000 Shares of Standard Oil Stock and Third of Residuary

Poughkeepsie, N. Y., July 9
Harry Harkness Flagler, eighty-one, former president of the Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York, left the bulk of his estate to his three daughters, his will filed here yesterday showed, Mr. Flagler, son of Henry M. Flagler, an associate of the late John D. Rockefeller sr. in the original formation of the Standard Oil Co., died in New York City June 30.

Each daughter was left 20,000 shares of the capital stock of Standard Oil Co. (New Jersey) valued at yesterday's closing quotation on the New York Stock Exchange at more than $1,600,000 for each daughter.

In addition, the daughters are to get equal shares in the residuary estate. They are
Mrs. Melbert B. Carey jr., of New York; Mrs. Flagler Harris, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Flagler Matthews, of Rye, N. Y.

Bequests of $25,000 each were made to each of four grandchildren, Anne Lamont Harris, John Andrews Harris 4th, Henry Flagler Harris and George Gregory Matthews.

The will provided $10,000 each to the First Presbyterian Church and Roosevelt Hospital, in New York City, and $5,000 to Lyall Memorial Federated Church, at Millbrook, N. Y., where Mr. Flagler maintained a residence. In a codicil Mr. Flagler provided that money contributed to a fund-raising campaign for the Millbrook School for Boys, of which he was president, be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $100,000.

A pracel of real estate in Millbrook was left to the Millbrook Free Library, which he also served as president. Sixteen cash beqeusts, raniging from $500 to $10,000, were made to servants and friends. He left his musical library to his daughter, Mrs. Carey.
